Position Overview:

As a Content Writer in Kitafund’s Performance Team, your primary responsibility will be to craft compelling and persuasive content for various advertising channels. Working within a dynamic team, you'll contribute to RM1,000,000 GDVs monthly, collaborating closely with the Visual Team to visually bring your ideas to life. This role includes the responsibility of translating campaign materials to broaden our reach and engage diverse audiences, but this role does not involve graphic design responsibilities, focusing solely on content creation to elevate brand messaging and drive engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate engaging and persuasive content for a variety of advertising channels.
  • Writing content for Kitafund’s blog.
  • Collaborate with design and video production teams by providing creative briefs and concepts to guide visual content creation.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice.
  • Craft compelling messaging communicating the campaign's purpose and impact to inspire potential donors.
  • Provide clear and concise creative briefs to the Visual Team, outlining content requirements and key messaging.
  • Utilize storytelling techniques to create narratives that connect with the audience personally and emotionally.
  • Ensure that the stories effectively convey the urgency and significance of the fundraising cause.
  • Work within the Performance Team, contributing to the overarching goal of increasing Gross Domestic Value (GDV) and revenue.
  • Analyze campaign performance data and user feedback to refine and optimize content for improved results.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, consumer behaviors, and competitor activities to continually enhance the effectiveness of content strategies.
  • Creating reports and work progress monthly.
  • Attend any ad hoc task related to your responsibilities.

Creative Briefing:

Work collaboratively with designers to seamlessly integrate written and visual elements.

Analyze content performance metrics and iterate on strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Proactively identify and address challenges related to content creation and engagement.

Maintaining content and campaign story whenever needed.

Campaign Enhancement:

Spearheaded content creation for 60 campaigns monthly, maintaining a high standard of quality and relevance, and all technical needs.

Update and enhance the campaign story and campaign pages to create a more engaging and reader-friendly experience.

Provide translation services for campaign materials to reach a broader audience.

Ensure cultural sensitivity and accuracy in translated content to maintain the integrity of the messaging.

Creating and posting beneficiaries' latest updates after disbursement on the campaign page.

Choose a campaign and update the editorial homepage weekly to ensure all campaigns can gain more donations.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to evoke emotions and drive action.
  • Strong understanding of the psychology of giving and donor behavior.
  • Ability to update and maintain campaign pages, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and optimizing reader engagement.
  • Proficiency in translation, with a focus on maintaining accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
  • The collaborative mindset with the capability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
