Satellite Command Centre (Technical Officer in Charge) needed for Top-Tier International Bank

Your new company

Your new organisation is a top-tier South East Asian bank, with multiple branches in Malaysia. They are looking to replicate their main Satellite Command Centre (STCC) in Malaysia, to ensure 24/7 operatibility, and to ensure that the Malaysian team gets sufficient support on the back-end.

Your new role

You will be one of the 2 key people in ensuring their STCC's critical systems and overall system health and operations are up and running. You will be the key person in identifying, monitoring and ensuring that key systems follow SOPs. You will be key in major incident management, to assess and analyse information while working with other relevant teams to ensure that the incidents are resolved according to SOP.

What you'll need to succeed

• Very good interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with different stakeholders and operations teams.
  
• Good knowledge and skills at identifying incidents and resolving them.
  
• Must be able to work in shifts (From 630 am - 3.30pm; From 2.30pm - 11.30pm)
  
• Must be able to work closely with both infrastructure and application team, to understand how different systems and applications work in an ecosystem, to ensure clear analysis of any incidents.
  
• Banking or Financial Services experience is good to have.
