We are currently looking for a Financial Accountant to join the Acclime Group Finance team. Based in Bangsar South KL, this role reports to the Manager – Financial Analysis. The role will play a critical part in compiling business critical financial information and supporting decision making.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist with month-end reporting and analysis, including reconciling intercompany from a group perspective and liaising with the key stakeholders in the business to resolve any intercompany balance mismatches.
- Review reported financial data from Acclime Business units to ensure integrity.
- Ensure business unit compliance with Finance Policies.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated management reports.
- Assist in the preparation of dashboards and monthly management reports.
- Support the Manager – Financial Analysis with the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Participate in software implementation and other projects as Group Finance representative.
- Provide assistance in connection to the Acclime Group audit.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required by the Manager – Financial Analysis and Group Finance team.
- Assist with variance analysis exercises.
Requirements:
- 2 – 5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- High level of self-motivation.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Competence in manipulating and interpreting large datasets.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Understanding of consolidation concepts.
- Ability to interact effectively with overseas colleagues.
The following attributes will be highly valued (but not essential):
- Experience in accounting and reporting for multinational/multicurrency operations and complex intercompany reconciliations.
- Experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) environment.
- Proficiency in using PowerBI.
- Familiarity with consolidation systems.
- Experience in financial modeling.
