  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position: Test Engineer - Automation

Industry: Banking

Tenure: 1 Year Contract (Renewable)

Working Location: Kuala Lumpur (Onsite)

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to increase QA efficiency with automation
  • Establish the best practices of QA Automation tools and process
  • Establish the platform and tools needed for QA automation
  • Study and help reduce manual or semi-manual QA processes
  • Specialized in mobile test automation, but able to automate the test for API and web application as well
  • Convert test cases into scripted test cases on the automation functional test tools
  • Maintain scripted test cases on the automation functional test tools
  • Work and collaborate within the QA team to discuss on automation test planning and test cases
  • Work and collaborate with Platform Engineering, DevOps, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team to further integrate with various other holistic automation components like CI/CD pipelines, simulators & API
  • Work and collaborate with Platform Engineering team to mutually strategize on the automated functional and regression test strategy and approach
  • Work with the Platform Engineering team to establish a centralized and on-demand QA automation platform for bank-wide use. Platform engineering will support in terms of cloud-related expertise

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Information Technology or related fields.
  • Have industrial experience in mobile app functional and black box automation test
  • Experience in utilizing automation test tools like Appium, Katalon Studio, Selenium and related
  • Experience in the related test cases scripting like Java Groove, Python, PHP and and related
  • Experience in AWS Device Farm is an added advantage
  • Experience in Mobile app development is an added advantage
  • Experience in Linux & Mac
  • Experience in maintaining the scripted test cases versioning on code repository like Git
  • Have deep experience in Python and Shell script automation will be a plus
  • Can work independently without much supervision.
  • Have passion for automation culture
  • Passions for continuous process improvement
  • Eager to explore latest technologies
  • High energy level of teamwork spirit
  • Able to Speak and Write fluently in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
