1. R&D Sr. Chemist / Assist Manager – Specialist Chemicals 2. Minimum Academic / Professional Qualification Required: 3. Doctorate in Chemistry / Master of Science in Chemistry and experience in the field of specialty chemicals and Food Acids. He is well-versed in various Research Methods. 4. He should have exposed to a very highly sensitive instruments, equipment and sophisticated methods of analysis. He should have been exposed to the nuances of the process. 5. Have the ability to train other team members. Should be able to understand applications of products and troubleshooting of customer issues. 6. The minimum period of Experience Required: 7. With a Doctoral qualification minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience/ with a Master’s degree in science minimum of 7 to 10 Years of experience in a reputed research institute or in the similar type of industry. He should have developed some new synthesis and developed in-house processes to improve the existing line of activities. He should have shown exemplary interest in learning and adapting new systems and processes. He should have been exposed to ISO 9000, ISO14000 and 8. Setting up laboratory equipment /glassware to conducting the test and experiments for new product developments and existing product quality & process improvements. 9. Observing, recording & analysing the experiments, data collection & documentation. 10. SOP preparation for the developed processes and transferring the process into the pilot plant level & commercial scale. 11. Procurement of raw materials, chemicals, laboratory equipment & glassware 12. Developing the analytical methods & calibration for new product analysis. 13. Work towards cost saving exercises for products & processes. 14. Regular project reviews with management. 15. Provide trouble shooting support for production & QC departments in relation to the customer complaints /incidents /rejects.
