Job Description

  • Conduct research on regulatory expectations and peer benchmarking exercises, on approaches to assess, monitor and augment risk culture.
  • Source and analyse qualitative and quantitative data across the entity to identify risk culture themes and insights for reporting to senior management and Board.
  • Develops and maintains risk culture dashboards, and align risk culture metrics to best practices in the market.
  • Define and measure behaviours associated with good risk culture.
  • Develop strategies to cultivate risk culture through data-driven insights.
  • Design the Risk Culture Programme, with clear & measurable outcomes.
  • Implement the Risk Culture Programme plan consisting of key milestones and actions to be completed by agreed dates.
  • Independently rate progress against the defined maturity assessment parameters and report to the Board with evidence including undertaking enterprise wide risk culture interviews and designing and undertaking various bespoke risk culture surveys as required.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to define what good and poor risk culture looks like across the enterprise; develop and implement an appropriate communications strategy & plan.
  • Participate in various risk forums and committees to drive the risk culture agenda.
  • Design & facilitate risk culture education sessions (e.g. immersive risk culture activation sessions) as required.
  • Provide input & review risk culture learning materials, including bank-wide e-learning programme.
  • Act as primary point of contact for all risk culture developments and engagement internally.
  • Collaborate with Group HR to develop and embed the remuneration/ incentive design in the context of risk and reward requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Behavioural science/ psychology/ analytics background.
  • Organisation culture change experience.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with an applied knowledge of MS Excel/ Power BI.
  • Banking & Risk Management experience (preferred)
