We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to provide a range of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks for our organization. As an Accounting Clerk, your responsibilities will include maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling bank statements, and providing administrative assistance to the accounting department. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department 2. Type accurately, prepare, and maintain accounting documents and records 3. Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements 4. Reconcile accounts in a timely manner 5. Daily enter key data of financial transactions into the database 6. Provide aid and support to company personnel 7. Research, track, and resolve accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies 8. Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas 9. Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws 10. Work experience in the Courier and Logistic industries will be an added advantage 11. Any other duties assigned by superior Requirements: 1. Diploma or relevant certification is a plus 2. Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk 3. Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures 4. Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software 5. Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports 6. Accuracy and attention to detail 7. Aptitude for numbers and data entry skills 8. Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks 9. Well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
