Support Southeast-Asia (SEA) Finance Associate Director in performing financial reporting tasks and controls for Southeast Asia business operations; ensuring timely and effective financial reporting process. Work collaboratively within SEA Finance and with cross functional teams across Finance, Valuation and Administration for improvements to operational processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily finance operations for SEA region.
  • Perform month-end/quarter-end and year-end financial reporting tasks, which include (but not limited to):
    • preparation of journals
    • perform checking of the financial results, reconciliation of data
    • analyzing, compiling and reporting of data for management reports, and regulatory reports.
  • Liaise cross functionally with Valuation and Administration team within SEA region, Corporate and clients externally on finance related tasks.
  • Support treasury function.
  • Support internal and external audits, tax reporting and other ad-hoc reporting.
  • Perform other Finance duties as assigned.
Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • 1-2 years related work experience in finance/ auditing
  • Fresh graduate can be considered
  • Progress towards relevant professional accreditations or certificates

Skills And Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
  • Prefer with audit or insurance experience, though not mandatory
  • Effective administrative and organizational skills
  • A strong team player with effective communication skills and participate in team projects
  • Ability to coordinate and perform multiple tasks
  • Flexible, initiative and demonstrate strong accountability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
  • Critical thinking, problem solving and attention to detail
