The Sales Engineer is responsible for selling into new prospects as well as farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels. Measures of success include new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success.

Responsibilities :

  1. Maintain awareness of target market situations and competitor activity and report back to superiors as soon as possible.
  2. To make regular planned calls on appropriate personnel within customers’ organizations at a frequency geared to their current and future potential.
  3. To attend sales meetings and training programmes as requested.
  4. To handle credits, complaints, enquiries, quotations, and technical advisory commitments in accordance with company policy.
  5. Responsible for total sales management to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  6. Develop and execute business development strategies and action plans to achieve new customer targets.
  7. Update superiors on sales and product development activities (via weekly report) and conduct regular customer visits to strengthen customer relationships.
  8. Prepare a monthly report on sales performance, a rolling forecast, customer operations and profile, competitor activities, market trends, product improvements, and other relevant insights with recommendations on appropriate marketing plans.
  9. Address all customer issues immediately and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve customer issues.
  10. Develop, train, and improve the skills and product knowledge of your respective support team to ensure they continuously deliver customer satisfaction.
  11. Ensure existing and potential customers are updated on the company's products, testing techniques, process improvement, and services that deliver benefits to them.
  12. Perform any other duties assigned by the management with full accountability and responsibility from time to time.
