Security Manager

You are responsible for ensuring the security and safety of railway tracks and associated infrastructure within designated areas. This role involves implementing security measures, conducting patrols, monitoring CCTV systems, and responding to incidents to prevent unauthorized access, vandalism, theft, and other security breaches. Duties and Responsibilities • Conduct regular patrols along railway tracks and infrastructure to detect and deter security threats. • Monitor CCTV systems and alarm systems to identify suspicious activity or security breaches. • Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, and take appropriate action to resolve security issues. • Maintain accurate records of security patrols, incidents, and any security-related activities. • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and railway personnel to address security concerns effectively. • Conduct security inspections of railway facilities, equipment, and access points to identify vulnerabilities and recommend security improvements. • Enforce access control measures to prevent unauthorized entry into restricted areas. • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and training programs. • Provide support during special events, construction projects, or other activities that may require additional security measures. Requirements & Skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure • Excellent observation and surveillance abilities • Physical fitness and ability to perform security patrols on foot • Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately • Knowledge of security principles and practices • Prior experience in security or law enforcement preferred • Familiarity with railway operations and safety protocols advantageous
