Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Identify business opportunities by researching and analyzing sales and business options within the molecular diagnostics healthcare industry.
  2. Market, promote, and sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions that align with their needs.
  3. Generate leads and maintain regular contact with existing prospects to cultivate relationships and drive sales growth.
  4. Strategize approaches and plans for market penetration, including presenting to decision makers at collaborating clinics, hospitals, and laboratories.
  5. Stay informed about developments in the molecular diagnostics healthcare industry, including identifying product improvements, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  6. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information related to sales, revenue, and market performance.
  7. Create weekly/monthly forecasts on revenue/target management and end-of-month reports on revenue and market performance, delivering against targets to ensure revenue expectations are met.
  8. Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  9. Stay updated on professional and technical knowledge by attending conferences, workshops, and participating in professional societies.
  10. Work closely with the marketing department and external PR companies to develop bespoke campaigns targeted at relevant prospects.
  11. Provide input into sales and marketing collateral to ensure alignment with the company's positioning for various audiences.
  12. Maximize networking opportunities by regularly attending conferences, events, and trade shows to increase awareness and develop a further network of contacts.

Qualification:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  2. Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles within the healthcare industry, particularly in molecular diagnostics.
  3. Strong understanding of sales principles, business development strategies, and market dynamics within the healthcare industry.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision makers.
