Position Overview: The Operations is a key role within our logistics team, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of daily operational activities. Based in Kota Kinabalu, this position involves overseeing shipping, warehousing, and distribution processes to meet customer demands and company standards. The Operations will coordinate with various stakeholders, optimize operational workflows, and address any issues that arise, all while maintaining high levels of service quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities: *Operational Management: Oversee daily operations to ensure the smooth and efficient running of all logistics activities, including shipping, warehousing, and distribution. *Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and customers to manage schedules, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. *Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in operational processes and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. *Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and operational procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. *Reporting: Generate and review operational reports, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management. *Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any operational issues such as delays, discrepancies, or equipment malfunctions in a timely and effective manner and expedite clerance. *Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support and facilitate cross-functional operations and ensure alignment with overall business goals. *Customer Service: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, handling complaints, and ensuring service quality. Requirements: *Educational Qualification: Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. *Experience: Relevant experience in logistics or operations, preferably in a similar role. *License: Valid Goods Driving License (GDL) is required. Skills: *Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new processes and technologies. *Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. *Strong multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail. *Proficient in using relevant software and systems. *Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
