  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager, Meetings and Incentives to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as a consultant for our clients, overseeing the entire process from site research and selection to on-site management. Your expertise in negotiations, budgeting, and program organization will be essential in delivering exceptional experiences that meet our clients' expectations while maximizing our company’s profit margins.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tailored proposals that align with client requirements and budgets, while effectively increasing profitability.
  • Plan and manage confirmed proposals, coordinating with suppliers to ensure quality service delivery within budget constraints.
  • Oversee on-site service delivery and logistics, ensuring smooth operation of events in collaboration with business partners.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and suppliers, ensuring all parties meet expectations.
  • Participate in business development initiatives, including Familiarization Trips and Site Inspections to attract new MICE clients.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, as well as business partners.
  • Ensure that hotel, venue, and restaurant facilities meet the standards set by DA Malaysia and client expectations.
  • Support bidding processes for new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in event management or a related field, preferably within the MICE sector.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage budgets effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
