Position: IT Support Engineer Industry: Aviation MRO Working Duration: 12 months contract with PERSOLKELLY Working Location: Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Complex A, Mas Engineering, 47200 Subang, Selangor Working Hours/Day: 3 Shift rotation: Monday – Friday (0700 - 1445/ 1500 - 2300/ 2300 – 0700) Salary: Basic up to RM3,000 (Based on experience + skills) with statutory contribution + leave entitlement + medical coverage Job Description Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft 365 (M365) support and migration. This critical role involves in 24/7 shift environment IT support, by providing dedicated support for the M365 Migration Project. The ideal candidate should have intermediate-level expertise in M365 and a solid foundation in general IT support. Key attributes include a willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment and the ability to adapt to changes in job scope or direction. A proven track record in supporting M365 support/migration projects and strong troubleshooting skills across various platforms and systems are essential. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure timely and effective support for all users while fostering a positive team culture. Key Responsibilities: 1. M365 Support & Migration: • Provide comprehensive support for M365 applications, including troubleshooting, configuration, and user assistance. • Assist in the planning and execution of M365 migration projects, including email, data, and application migrations. • Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during M365 transitions, including pre-migration testing and post-migration validation. • Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement M365 best practices. 2. General IT Support: • Respond to and resolve user inquiries related to hardware, software, and network issues. • Monitor IT systems to identify and address potential issues before they impact operations. • Document all support activities, resolutions, and escalate issues to senior IT staff when necessary. • Support day-to-day IT operations, including the maintenance and administration of IT infrastructure. • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in line with security policies. • Provide on-site and remote support as required. Job Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. (Relevant certifications and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.) • Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on M365 support and migration. • If there is any ad hoc requirement they might have to come in on Saturday. Certifications: • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) in Office 365 or Microsoft 365 (preferred). • ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management (preferred). • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (a plus). Skills: • Intermediate-level expertise in Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive. • Proficiency in M365 migration tools and processes. • Strong troubleshooting skills in both hardware and software. • Experience in network administration and IT infrastructure support.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.  Strong documentation skills and attention to detail Serious applicants may send your resume to [email protected] Only qualified candidates will be contacted for interview.
