Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain HR operational documents eg. Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and Guidelines, Service Agreements, Contracts of Employment, etc
- Recruitment activities from screening, shortlisting, interviewing, selection, to offering, preparation and administering the signing of employment contracts.
- Accesses the potential candidates by screening and reviewing for suitable candidates in order to ensure the candidates match with the hiring requirement.
- Develop and conduct ongoing training programs (coaching and on job trainings) in line with the business needs to enhance employees’ performance and development.
- To prepare letter in relation on staff movement, for e.g., Offer Letter, Confirmation Letter, Increment Letter, Acceptance of Resignation Letter and etc.
- Prepare and process monthly payroll and ensure compliance with the government authorities i.e., such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF and LHDN.
- Manage HR operations such as preparing and maintaining of personal files and records, payroll verification, tracking of service confirmation, contract expiry,
- Manage holiday calendars and leave balance.
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
- Compliance with all government divisions.
- Respond to external/internal requests for information.
- ·Support key activities for the whole cycle of HR e.g., appraisal review, annual compensation review, and talent management.
- Well versed in Labour Laws of Malaysia & latest recommendations by Government authorities.
- Perform ad-hoc or any other tasks assigned by Management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent academic experience.
- Minimum 2 year(s) of working experience in handling full spectrum of HR function.
- People oriented, team player and able to collaborative with people at all level, including senior management.
- Well versed in Malaysian Labour Laws.
- Competent with Microsoft applications i.e., Words, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Work effectively in a team environment and also able to work under pressure.
- Ability in multi-tasking, confident, meticulous and have excellent communication skills.
- Candidates must be willing to work at Bukit Mertajam.
