Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role will support our Engineering Department with various building maintenance tasks, infrastructure projects, and site inspections.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Engineer in overseeing and executing routine maintenance activities for buildings to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
  • Support infrastructure project monitoring and conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Address and plan responses to issues related to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety, and daily infrastructure problems raised by operations and other departments.
  • Collaborate with contractors regarding Request for Quotations (RFQ), Purchase Requisition (PR) issuance, and Work Order (WO) issuance to ensure timely and effective service.
  • Prepare and present the monthly Facilities and Infrastructure (FACI) report for analysis and future planning.

Job Requirements

  • Certificate, Diploma or above qualification in related field.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in building maintenance, civil engineering, or site project supervision.
  • 1 to 3 years hands-on experience with general building maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural or building plans and drawings.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with city council regulations, BOMBA, and JPS legislation and regulations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including AutoCAD and SAP.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
