Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the application systems in operation, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues.
  • Responsibilities also include root cause analysis, management communication and client relationship management in partnership with Infrastructure Service Support team members (L1).
  • Key technical skills are LINUX, Windows, web technology experience (using C#) and DBMS.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with good communication skills, ability to work under pressure with a high sense of urgency.
  • Looking for someone who is proactive, self-driven and able to identify improvements to address recurring issues, close monitoring gaps, and automate/reduce manual work.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma qualifications or other formal training related with IT, Computing Studies or Information Systems required.
  • Understands the infrastructure of a client server environment.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Understanding reading C# code is required.
  • Experience writing scripts for automation purposes (e.g.: Windows Batch File or PowerShell or Linux bash script)
  • Prior experience working in a Ticketing environment (i.e., Remedy, Service Manager) and Splunk - Monitoring tools would be a plus.
  • Prior experience with any DBMS (e.g.: Oracle, SQL Server) would be a plus.
