ob Position: SQL IT Support
Location: Shah Alam
Tenure: 2-year contract (Renewable basis)
Working Hours/Days: 5 working days (Fixed Night shift 9 pm – 6 am)
Salary: RM 3500 - RM 4500 (Open for negotiation) + Fixed Allowance RM 900 (Shift allowance + Training allowance)
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality technical support and customer service to end users through effective communication (via phone, e-mail, and chat) and efficient troubleshooting.
- Resolve technical issues related to GIS servers using the right tools and other related technologies.
- Work well in a high-energy, fast-paced, enthusiastic, positive, and collaborative culture.
- Maintain comprehensive case documentation in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- As a subject matter expert, author and tech edit knowledge articles available to internal and external users.
- Identify issues and log defects for software improvements.
- Work in other technical areas of software support as customer and business needs require.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Networking, Information Science, Computer Engineering, Networking, Information Technology, Business IT, Programming, or an equivalent field.
- Knowledge in: SSL, Web certificates, Proxy Servers, Windows Servers, SQL, LDAP.
- Background working as a Server Administrator or Network Administrator will be an advantage.
- Experience in networking, web servers, web certificates, or proxies.
- Background in software support or technical customer service with direct end-user contact
- Aptitude to gain understanding of systems administration and troubleshooting of multiple operating systems.
- Proficient written and verbal communication abilities with a strong grasp of the English language, including grammar.
