Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handling full spectrum of accounting functions and daily operation activities including general ledger, account receivable, account payable, tax and treasury.
  • Ensure all financial records are filed and maintained properly
  • Ensure all accounting related transactions are accurately updated and on a timely manner (for instance: cash book, vendors invoices, drawdown schedule, contractors & consultants listing, redemption sum schedule, budget schedule & etc)
  • Fund management and cash flow planning (Maximize the return of idle funds – repo/FD placement of excess fund and ensure there is sufficient funds for operating expenses)
  • Plan and manage account payable functions to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in the payment process to avoid any penalty imposed (for instance: tax instalment, WHT payment, SST payment & etc)
  • To check the employee staff claims and ensure the supporting documents are adequately documented into the file and accounting system
  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly management account, bank account reconciliation
  • Preparation of bi-monthly SST report
  • Preparation of tax estimation, Statutory Financial Statement
  • Liaise with bank officers on daily/operational banking matters
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax agents on financial accounting and tax issues
  • Assist in budgeting, annual review activities and the compliance of financial covenants of banking facilities

Requirements:

  • Degree or partially ACCA/Degree/Diploma in Accounting.
  • 2 to 4 years working experience
  • Microsoft office, Microsoft Excel - Intermediate Level
  • MHW accounting software
