Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the sales team, stakeholders, and clients to create growth through long-term clients and sales.
  • Work with and develop the current prospect database within specified business sectors to generate effective leads & exceed sales targets for the business.
  • Work closely with operations team in executing business development activities, and actively build and maintain relationships with new business leads to ensure increased revenue.
  • Maintain sales pipeline and sales administration reporting.
  • Representing the company at trade fairs and other business events to create positive exposure and generate business leads.

Requirements:

  • Possess at least Bachelor Degree in Logistics / Business Studies / Management / Economics / Marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in LOGISTICS INDUSTRY.
  • Knowledgeable in Oil & Gas / Shipping and Customs activities.
  • Possess drive, initiative, result oriented and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proven success in sales ability and demonstrate full knowledge of sales process.
  • Able to cope with competing demands and priorities tasks.
  • Able to travel on regular basis.
  • Must have strong skills in communication, negotiating and marketing to effectively deal with clients.
  • Position to be based in Bintulu, Sarawak.
