A well-known Bakery branding operates in Malaysia as a bakery specializing in producing bread and cakes, with a focus on in-store bakeries​

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle transactions and payments for rent, utilities, food materials, and supplies.
  • Manage payroll, taxes, social security payments, and related information collection.
  • Perform monthly account-closing tasks.
  • Liaise with store branches, banks, and suppliers on relevant matters.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to address billing and payment issues.
  • Handle communication with accounting Agent, Company Secretary
  • Preparation for AGM documents
  • Account Payable
  • Account Receivable
  • Sorting & filing support invoices
  • Make and authorize payment (Salary, Epf, Socso, Loans, Insurance, etc)
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Monthly closing (Key in into USB System)
  • Yearly closing for audit report etc

Job Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of comprehensive experience in accounting, covering all aspects from A to Z
  • Proven experience managing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
  • Capable of performing tasks independently
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive in resolving issues without waiting for instructions
  • Excellent communication in English
  • Added advantage for a Japanese speaker
