Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating Board Meetings, including booking venues, preparing reports and documents, producing minutes, preparing agendas and board resolutions, and circulating board papers.
  • Assist or prepare circular resolutions, minutes of board, committee, and general meetings, and statutory forms in compliance with the Companies Act, 2016, Main Market Listing Requirements, Securities Commission Act, and other related authorities.
  • Stay updated with corporate secretarial developments and regulatory requirements, inform the Board, and maintain corporate information and statutory records.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements and timely submission of all requisite forms, returns, documents, and announcements to Bursa.
  • Ensure that company secretarial activities are carried out professionally, ethically, and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in preparing and coordinating information for the Annual Report, Circular to shareholders on RRPT, Statement of Share Buy-back, and Corporate Governance Report to Bursa Malaysia.
  • Assist in various corporate exercises by providing accurate information or documents to advisers and solicitors.
  • Carry out any other duties as instructed by the Superior and Management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • A Professional Certificate / Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Corporate Administration or finalist /currently pursuing ICSA or MAICSA programme.
  • At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field in a public listed company.
  • Well versed in Companies Act 2016, Listing Requirements, Corporate Governance and other related regulations
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication in both Bahasa Melayu and English. Knowledge of Mandarin will be an added advantage as you need to communicate internally with management.
  • Independent, meticulous, proactive, resourceful and team player with good interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
  • Possess a strong sense of responsibility, job ownership and commitment and able to multi-task in a fast-working environment
