DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing all internal and external communications of an organisation:
    • Developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies
    • Managing external communications including press releases and official statements for Alpha IVF Group and Alpha’s centre
    • Ensuring consistent messaging and brand voice across all communication channels
    • Work with centres to ensure events that require media are covered with appropriate story angle, doctors’ interviews and within brand guidelines highlighting a competitive advantage.
  • Gathering and analysing market research for effective public relations and marketing campaigns:
    • Conducting or commissioning market research studies
    • Analyzing consumer trends, preferences, and behaviours
    • Identifying target audiences and their communication preferences
    • Evaluating competitors' strategies and market positioning
    • Using data-driven insights to inform PR and marketing strategies
  • Coordinating with public relations and marketing teams to create, budget, and execute communications programs or campaigns:
    • Collaborating on integrated marketing and PR plans
    • Aligning communications objectives with overall business goals
    • Developing campaign timelines and milestones
    • Allocating resources and managing budgets for various initiatives
    • Overseeing the production of marketing materials and PR content
    • Measuring and reporting on campaign performance and ROI
  • Building relationships with government, private stakeholders and media entities to ensure products and services reach public awareness:
    • Establishing and maintaining contacts with key journalists and media outlets
    • Developing relationships with government officials and regulatory bodies
    • Organizing press conferences, media briefings, and interviews
    • Arranging product demonstrations or service showcases for media and government representatives
    • Monitoring and responding to relevant legislative or regulatory changes
  • Agencies:
    • Manage PR agencies deliverables, ensure the agency meets the set KPIs timely and have regular meetings to monitor progress.
    • Work with translators (for vernacular or international content) to get content translated to the right mediums and ensure translated content accuracy.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a PR role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to write in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
  • High level of commercial and business acumen, strong analytical, decision making and problem solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt rapidly to shifting priorities and new marketplace dynamics
  • Proficiency in English and Malay
  • Proficiency in Chinese language is a plus.
