Who You Are:
Manufacturing engineer with expertise in advanced metrology and inspection system for Operation and R&D teams.

  • Acquire competencies in Six Sigma methodology, data analytical skill, 8D problem solving and FMEA.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge on AVI, AOI, smart-scopes & etc.

What You Will Do:

  • Focal person of cosmetic defect criteria & inspection (AVI and MVI)
  • Responsible for AVI process improvement and sustaining robust process performance in terms of quality, throughput and uptime.
  • Responsible for AVI process development, qualification and optimization for NPI and new process requirements.
  • Owns SPC, Control Plan, FMEA, OI and documentations.
  • Conducting MSA for machine / recipe qualification, as well as periodic validation.
  • Support investigations & root cause analysis (FACA & 8D) in solving of manufacturing & component suppliers' issues. (Collaboration with process, production, QA, equipment & others)
  • Develop MSA procedure, recipe and golden sample for execution of qualification and periodic gage verification.


What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree of Engineering / Science.
  • Skilled in Statistical analysis tools, 8D problem solving, SPC, FMEA, DMAIC
  • Problem solving oriented and strong analytical mind and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Power Point
  • Initiative and able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail orientated with matured interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience on automated visual inspection machines, as well as dimensional measurement experience.
  • Familiar with back-end assembly processes.
  • Able to communicate well and interact with customers.

  • Bachelor's

Field of Study

  • Applied Science; Mechanical Engineering; or related fields.

Years of Experience (Minimum)
