Shipping & Logistics Executive

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly organized and motivated Shipping & Logistics Executive to play a pivotal role in optimizing our processes and enhancing the efficiency of our logistics and operational functions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the transport operations of the company, including the coordination of transportation vehicles (lorry), drivers, and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate and optimize end-to-end B2C logistics, ensuring efficient and timely movement of products to our customers.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, track stock movements, and implement effective inventory control measures.
• Shipping Management: To support operation logistics, import, export and order fulfilment.
• Documentation and Reporting: Ensure the accuracy of all vendor invoices and warehouse inventories. Generate regular reports on key operational metrics for management review.
• Logistics Efficiency: Continuously review and enhance logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Vendor Management: Build strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and freight forwarders to ensure reliable and consistent services.
• Collaboration: Assist in superior and complete any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
• Handling all Import and Export logistic duties
• Liaising with authorities for all import and export documentations
• Arranging and ensuring logistic arrangement is in order and meeting delivery due date
• Liaising with courier and logistic company for sea and air freight
• Handling materials purchase and monitoring supplier delivery
• Handling billing and customer service
• Maintain proper records of shipment data, systematic filing and storage of shipping documents for audit purpose
• To plan, coordinate, and execute shipments to meet customer requirements, considering cost, transit time, and delivery deadlines
• Handling sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
• Execute and coordinate with shipping line, forwarding agent, customers, and internal teams on shipment requirements.
• Prepares items accurately for shipment according to customer orders by retrieving goods from the warehouse with proper packaging and documentation.
• Reports shipping and receiving details to the appropriate department on a timely basis.
• Prepare detailed reports on import and export shipments.
• Performing other ad-hoc duties as and when required

Requirement

• At least 2-4 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Ability to work under pressure and to motivate and achieve a good working relationship with personnel at all levels
• Have practical sales or marketing experience in addition to working knowledge of logistics operations
• Possess good interpersonal communication skills
• Well Spoken in English and Bahasa Melayu.
