Job Description:

  • Ensure that all Environment, Health & Safety policy practice, make recommendation and implement new policies and procedure as required.
  • To carry the Company meet its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to ESH at work including statutory training and reporting.
  • Assessment and approval of subcontractor safety plans.
  • Verification of tools and equipment to ensure good quality.
  • To ensure that safety are carried out for safety inspection, risk assessment and lone working procedure are managed and employee are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Creating and enforcing safety guidelines and programs
  • Carrying out drills and exercises on managing emergency situations
  • To ensure that all accident are documented, investigated and recommended improvement implemented.
  • Verifying that all safety reports are submitted to related government institutions.
  • Arranges OSHA-mandated evaluations of the site
  • Coordinates all issues regarding hazardous materials or waste
  • Assisting with the preparation of a construction health and safety plan
  • Attending project planning meetings and collaborating with construction managers
  • Establishing and maintaining health and safety communication structures
  • Testing effectiveness of site emergency response plans
  • Continuous monitoring of all safety related documents, reports and issues to keep them updated.
  • To ensure full and accurate Health and Safety training for record maintained.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Company from time to time.

Job Requirement ;

  • Possess a minimum of Bachelor's Diploma/Degree holder in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent / Diploma or NIOSH Certificate related to Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Registered Qualified Safety and Health Officer with DOSH (Green Book Holder).
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Civil/Construction or equivalent.
  • Able to travel and relocate.
  • Dynamic, pro-active and hardworking.
  • Possess strong communication, interpersonal and reporting skills.
  • Candidate must be able to work independently.
