Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Accounting or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with at least 1 years in a senior capacity.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.
Experienced with Autocount System is preferred.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
Record and maintain financial accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness and up-to-date - accounting records available at all time
Manage the account payables and account receivable functions
Posting of supplier invoices, ensure the purchases/expenses being charged to accurate accounts and projects
Maintain proper filing and keep sufficient accounting records, notes, listing and other supporting documents to justify the figures shown in the accounts.
Monitoring cash flows & ensure payments made on timely basis
Maintaining debtors/creditors accounts / balance reconciliation and dealing with debtors/creditors on accounts relating matter
Verify monthly staff claims.
To ensure all petty cash transactions are recorded properly
Preparing SST submission
Liaise with auditors for statutory audit
To assist and perform all ad-hoc assignment as and when assigned
