Responsibilities:

  • Manage & service existing relationships for the assigned corporate loan portfolio of less complexity and smaller in size.
  • Increase depth of relationship and manage customers’ needs to achieve an acceptable level of RAROC in line with agreed business plan.
  • Develop and acquire new relationships to grow GCB’s balance sheet and P&L.
  • Timely periodic review of the assigned portfolio to preserve loan quality.
  • Undertake timely assessment on any relevant adverse market news and/or unsatisfactory account conduct, which may affect the credit profile of the borrowers and implement appropriate strategy to alleviate loan losses.
  • Managing the inter-divisional relationships to assist in delivering good customer service and maintain customer loyalty.
  • Delivers excellent service standard and trouble shoots problems & complaints from clients to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • “First-to-know” with regards to corporate market development by maintaining regular customer visitation/contacts.
  • Participate in account planning with Client Coverage Team and collaborate with other product partners where appropriate to maximize profitability of client group.
  • Group Corporate Banking ‘s liaison officer for the assigned portfolio for all cross-sell contacts and external parties to capture a bigger share of customers’ wallet for all products.
  • Cross-referral to other product partners across the RHB Group.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ of experience in corporate and/or investment banking at an established financial institution.
  • Preferably a Certified Credit Professional or have passed the Omega’s Credit Skill Assessment (CSA).
  • Good credit writing, analysis and structuring skills.
  • Good in Marketing / Business prospecting and negotiating skills.
  • Driven, organized and possesses strong relationship management skills.
