Job description Full job description Position Description A Junior Account Manager - Account assist to manage the operations of the Finance and Account Department. This ensures compliance with regulatory framework for financial reporting, tax legislation and any other applicable laws. Besides that, he/she also responsible in managing bookkeeping tasks. He/she supports the senior management team by overseeing the audit processes. Education and Experience - Professional Certificate/ Degree / Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accountancy - Minimum 5 years of working experience in Finance & Accounting. - Able to execute in Excel, Word and basic accounting software programs. - Able to speak and write in English. -Experience in GST handling and related field. - Experience in managerial role. - Accountabilities - Handle full set of accounts and ensure timely preparation/review of monthly management accounts and financial statements - Manage and control of all banking related transactions and accounting processes. - Coordinate and liaise with other departments on all accounting matters and resolve queries/problems that arise. - Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process, ensuring timely completion and accurate reporting of financial results. - Implements or improve accounting systems/procedure and maintain proper accounting records. - Assist in corporate finance and treasury matters. - Increase the functional efficiency and provide guidance and coaching to junior staff. - Liaise with external stakeholders i.e. auditors, company secretary, bankers, lawyers and government authorities etc. on related topics. - To carry out ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the Management from time to time. - Tracking cash flow and financial planning as well as analysing the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions. - Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audits or reconciliations, as needed.
