Responsibilities:

Network Design, Installation, Maintenance and Administration:

• Supervise the implementation of Information Technology in an efficient and timely manner, including follow-up to procurement processes and monitoring of milestones, which will involve meetings with end user and external contractors/vendors.
• Ensure the availability of timely technical assistance on network infrastructure and hardware related issues; efficiently manage services and vendor support/agreements.
• Supervise and ensure the implementation of network equipment in an efficient and timely manner with minimum disruption of services, which involve meetings with external contractors/vendors.
• Supervise and ensure that the technology at the Company in utilized in an effective manner, including IT infrastructure, communications, Internet/Intranet, etc. to meet user needs for the most up-to-date hardware and software in optimized manner.
• Ensure availability of timely technical assistance for network availability.
• Impart training to end user if there is a requirement of some network facility usage.
• Study options for the technology requirements (network infrastructure, Data room, server management and maintenance, contracts dealing management) for the Company and recommend the most viable options that meet IT strategic objectives of the company.

System Design, Implementation, Maintenance and Administration:

• Supervise the implementation of new system or application deployment in an efficient and timely manner, including follow-up to procurement processes and monitoring of milestones, which will involve meetings with external contractors/vendors.
• Ensure the availability of timely technical assistance for software applications and hardware related issues; efficiently manage outsourced services and vendor support/agreements.
• Impart training of software or application whenever required.
• Planning and budgeting for upcoming requirements of new system, application, and its related hardware.
• Initiate procurement according to plan and deal with vendors/suppliers regarding technical guidelines they need. Supervise project execution by following best IT industry standards so that solution can fit into existing infrastructure with stability.
• Administer servers, software running on these servers and applications hosted on these servers. These servers may include AD, DNS, DHCP, MS Exchange, Filing/Data servers, and storages. This includes routine health check and troubleshooting when required.

Data Backup and Security:

• Categorize data according to its type and usage so that frequency of backup can be defined.
• Define schedule of data backup according to its type, data point objective and time required to take each type of backup. Translate the data backup schedule in data backup software. The schedule should be optimized mix and match of Incremental, Differential and Full Back up.
• Monitoring of data backup process for its success and failure. In case of failure, investigate the reason and manage to resolve the problem soonest possible.
• Removing backup media and arrange to store it to proper location as defined by the process and procedure.
• Running IT operations in compliance with IT industry best practices so that CIA can be ensured.
• Plan, Budget, Design, Implement and administer security solutions in coordination with relevant departments involved in this process and the vendor providing support in the project.
• Plan and design IT security infrastructure and coordinate with different vendors to get security solutions that can be implemented in existing IT infrastructure.
