Task Responsibilities
- Main duty is to lead, manage, problem-solving of 2nd level support & troubleshooting, RCA, customer reporting, guiding & assisting other Back Office engineers
- Plan and arrange Corrective and Preventive maintenance of Core, Radio, Transmission, within defined SLA’s
- Fault management in terms of coordination among other Back Office teams (Core, Radio, Transmission)
- Audit of existing network and suggestion of improvement plans.
- Planning support by providing network topology and information.
- Coordination with customer and MS internal stakeholders, satisfied customer on the project delivery.
- Performance evaluation of Back Office resources.
Authority
- Approval of the reports generated, job rotation, shift/leave management
- Ensure that the BO team has the required skills and competence to perform their tasks efficiently
- Guide & support the Back-Office Engineers
- Support the team in advanced trouble shooting and fault resolution.
- Review the Performance Evaluations done by the Team leaders
Education Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering
Technical skills
- Minimum 3 years working experience as O&M Manager/Lead managing multiple domain i.e. Transmission IP/DWDM, RAN, etc.
- Minimum 2 years working experience as O&M engineer in operation & maintenance for any domain i.e. Transmission IP/DWDM, RAN, etc.
- Very Good knowledge of service networks / service applications characteristics and capabilities
- Very Good knowledge of service performance indicators and their interpretation
- Very Good support system knowledge and shall be able to use required applications after proper set-up, with use of documentation without further assistance
- Very Good knowledge of services and service applications implementation / integration processes.
- Very Good knowledge in any of IP/Access, Core, Transport and Service Networks
- Good knowledge and practical skills in any global process i.e. ETOM, FCAPS, ITIL
- HCIE or equivalent certificate

- Good leadership and communication skills, especially in handling technical requirements
- Ability to manage the team and create team spirit in a positive manner
- Innovative and creative
- Self driven, result oriented, very good coordination and communication skills
