What’s your job like?

This role is to lead and manage the development and integration of Business Office operations and capabilities to ensure smooth running of Accident & Emergency (A&E)/Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement (SP&CI) with the ultimate goal of providing quality services, meeting customers' needs and achieving revenue management goals and objectives.

Job Scope:

  • Ensure daily activities governing the operations of the department are completed efficiently, courteously and professionally.
  • Attend and ensure all enquiries, requests and complaints pertaining to registration and discharge regarding policies, procedures, charges and related matters are attended to promptly and professionally.
  • Review, suggest and implement improvement plans on work processes, SOP and stakeholders’ feedback in order to achieve efficient and innovative operations management.
  • Review and monitor customers' feedback, analyze patient waiting time and introduce improvement and corrective action.
  • Plan and ensure strong patient management process.
  • Handle patient confidential information in accordance with defined policies, procedures and standards.
  • Supervise direct reports to ensure activities are carried out in accordance to company's SOP and enhance customer centric culture.
  • Orientate and train new staff by conducting on-the-job training and in-service training.
  • Monitor and assess direct reports' performance and coach them in order to develop staff.
  • Assist superior in resolving disputes and other critical issues.
  • Assist in ad-hoc task/project assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Business Management, Hospitality or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Front Office Operations or Customer Service in healthcare or hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Customer service, interpersonal, communication, people management, leadership, analytical, critical, proactive, aggressive and problem solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and result-oriented environment.
  • Candidate must be able to work Saturdays (half day) during probation.
