Job Description
- Assist all costs relating to the project from the initial calculations to the final figures.
- As the project is in progress, keep track of any variations to the contract that may affect costs and create reports to show profitability.
- Preparing tender and contract documents.
- Undertaking cost analysis.
- Assisting Senior Quantity Surveyor & Operation Director in establishing client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
- Performing risk, value management and cost control.
- Advising on procurement strategy.
- Preparing and analyzing costings for tenders.
- Allocating work to subcontractors
- Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports.
- Valuing completed work and arranging payments.
- Required to handle both design & build purchasing
- Required to have strong sourcing capability and contacts
- Able to manage sub con and vendors, basic negotiating skill required
- To control on each project margin and profit.
- Able to handle short time line work task.
- Maintaining effective ISO 9001 quality management system
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- At least 3-5years working experience in similar position or related field.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin
- Possess own transport.
