Job Description

  • Assist all costs relating to the project from the initial calculations to the final figures.
  • As the project is in progress, keep track of any variations to the contract that may affect costs and create reports to show profitability.
  • Preparing tender and contract documents.
  • Undertaking cost analysis.
  • Assisting Senior Quantity Surveyor & Operation Director in establishing client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
  • Performing risk, value management and cost control.
  • Advising on procurement strategy.
  • Preparing and analyzing costings for tenders.
  • Allocating work to subcontractors
  • Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports.
  • Valuing completed work and arranging payments.
  • Required to handle both design & build purchasing
  • Required to have strong sourcing capability and contacts
  • Able to manage sub con and vendors, basic negotiating skill required
  • To control on each project margin and profit.
  • Able to handle short time line work task.
  • Maintaining effective ISO 9001 quality management system

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess at least a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • At least 3-5years working experience in similar position or related field.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin
  • Possess own transport.
