The PFSCR Compliance Manager provides support to the Head of Department through the strategic management of the compliance and risk function. Key responsibilities under these functions include leading, reviewing, evaluating and advising compliance and operational risk issues including internal policies and regulatory guidelines within PFS Credit.
Job responsibilities:
- Serve as first line of defense for compliance advisory support to division's stakeholders on regulatory/ internal compliance, operational risk related matters
- Main liaison person with:
- Group Compliance and Group Risk to facilitate and review all compliance and operational risk initiatives/activities/tasks i.e. independent review, yearly attestation, outsourcing review etc.
- Enterprise Business Continuity Management, to coordinate and manage division BCM activities
- Responsible for developing compliance programs, reviewing internal policies and regulatory guidelines, and advising management on possible risks with mitigation plans
- Provide advisory on compliance matters and to escalate for deliberation through higher management escalation
- Manage and attend to all division’s regulatory queries and surveys within stipulated timeline
Job Requirements:
- Malaysian citizen.
- Bachelor's Degree in law, finance, business administration or related field.
- 5 years and above experience in regulatory compliance and operations risk within banking industry
