Process Engineer

Job Descriptions

• Conduct cycle time studies, method studies, and layout designs.
• Implement line balancing and other process improvements to enhance production efficiency.
• Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for the sales department to support customer inquiries and project bids.
• Document engineering procedures, including Operating Instructions (OI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), to meet certification requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all engineering processes.
• Establish standard cycle times for production processes to aid in planning and costing.
• Develop production jigs, visual aids, manpower plans, process flows, and space designs to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement projects to achieve savings.
• Review and enhance training programs for new operators to ensure they are well-prepared
  for their roles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in conducting cycle time studies, method studies, and layout design.
• Experience with RFQ preparation and understanding of cost estimation processes.
• Strong documentation skills with experience in creating and maintaining OIs and SOPs.
• Knowledge of production process standardization and optimization techniques.
• Experience in identifying and implementing cost reduction projects.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as CAD for layout design, and ERP systems for production planning and costing.
