Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a multi-national steel structures fabrication project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of large-scale steel fabrication projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

As the Project Manager, you will be the key point of contact for clients and stakeholders across multiple countries, ensuring smooth communication and coordination. You will oversee all aspects of project execution, from planning and budgeting to resource allocation, risk management, and compliance with international regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of steel structures fabrication projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients, stakeholders, and multinational partners, ensuring transparent communication and addressing any project concerns or changes in scope.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that include detailed timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, production, and quality assurance to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization and adherence to financial targets.
  • Identify and resolve any potential issues related to project scope, quality, timelines, or technical challenges, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and clients on project status, including progress reports, performance metrics, and any deviations from the original plan.
  • Ensure that safety standards are strictly followed throughout the project, conducting audits, and enforcing corrective measures when needed.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring their performance aligns with project requirements and timelines.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for enhancing project efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in managing large-scale steel structures fabrication projects, with proven experience in handling multi-national projects.
  • Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, structural engineering principles, and international project management standards.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, dealing with cross-cultural teams and stakeholders.
  • Expertise in budget management, risk assessment, and resource planning for large-scale fabrication projects.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different regions.
  • Familiarity with international standards, regulations, and codes relevant to steel structures fabrication and construction.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of making decisions under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to oversee project sites and engage with clients and partners as needed.
