Senior Executive, Tender & Commercial

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as Senior Executive, Tender & Commercial. You will be providing support to the department in various areas, including liaising with clients which are various large oil and gas companies and working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of activities and timelines. You will report to our Vice President, Tender & Commercial. Your job scope will include to:

• Handle Market Surveys, Requests for Quotations, Invitations to Bid, etc in relation to the Company’s owned and operated vessels
• Review tender requirements, evaluating and highlighting potential risk factors to management for collective business decisions
• Assist with commercial and contractual clarifications/qualifications
• Coordinate, prepare and compile tender/bid submissions documents on a timely manner
• Understand commercial and contractual terms with clients and negotiate effectively on such terms
• Prepare and update documentation for commercial tracking, ensuring compliances with industry standards and regulations
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationship with existing and potential clients
• Participate in business development efforts
• Collaborate and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure commercial activities are aligned

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any field of a recognised institution
• Knowledge in maritime operations is an added advantage
• Strong understanding of commercial & contractual principles and practices
• At least 2-3 years of working experience in tender and commercial management environment within the maritime sector in oil and gas industry. Candidates without relevant experience but with excellent credentials will also be considered
• Good interpersonal skills including ability to express yourself well, articulate and persuasive, good teamwork skills, responsible and organised
• Strong work ethic and attitude, ability to work under pressure and quick thinking are essential
