Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the freight forwarding industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Manager.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company and expand the client base.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and logistics solutions.
