Job Responsibilities:
- Explore and develop new business opportunities with potential customers
- Work closely with operation/account/sales team members to ensure business performance targets are achieved
- Actively liaise with customers, demonstrate knowledge, and promote company products to existing/potential customers.
- Responsible for establishing and managing relationships with customers in need of the firm’s freight transportation services.
- Participate in contract and price negotiations with customers
- Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner
- Take ownership of customers' issues and follow through till resolution
- Ensure payment is made in the proper term
- Attending trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings
- Follow and match company’s bottom request on volume and margin
- Other ad hoc duties may be required from the superiors
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years of work experience in the freight forwarding industry is a MUST
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain/Maritime is preferable
- Ability to understand customers’ expectations and make value propositions to customers
- Passion to explore client with self-motivated action
- 2-3 years of Sales experience in the same industry will be an additional point in consideration
- Required language: English and Chinese Mandarin-Good verbal communication skills to build and maintain productive relationships with English and Chinese-speaking clients)
