LAI NGIT SEN SDN BHD is a company based in Kuching, Sarawak with 40 years of experience offering animal health products to feedmills, livestock farming and veterinary clinics. We are supplying vaccines, antibiotics, supplements, feed additives, farm equipment and technical support to farmers in East Malaysia and Brunei. Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• At least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
• Essential familiarity with local accounting standards and taxation laws.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work within teams.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Working independently, is accountable for completing journal entries by their due date, preparation of financial schedules for internal use, analyzing certain ledger accounts, and completing other analysis reports as required.
• Responsible for financial transactions, financial reviews and analysis, assists in preparation and completion of month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Ensures the accuracy of fixed asset records including additions, transfers, retirements, and disposals and prepares reporting summarizing monthly changes.
• Assists in month-end closing, journal entry preparation, and account analysis and reconciliation including inter-company accounts.
• Assists in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports and other analysis schedules.
• Establish, maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures. Overseeing accounting procedures like billing and invoicing.
• Generate debtor statements, debtors credit limit monitoring, debtors aging report, debtors collection report.
• Processing and preparing payrolls, EPF, SOCSO for employees.
• Handles the year end statutory audits performed by external auditors and any relevant regulatory compliance reporting.
• Prepare and ensure timely arrangement of tax filing, liaison with auditors, tax agents, bankers and ensure statutory compliances. Working with banks, public auditors and other external employees to keep financial records in order.
