Job Description
  • Serve as the point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.

  • Provide advice and support to management on employee relations issues.

  • Investigate employee complaints, misconduct, or violations of company policies.

  • Mediate disputes between employees and management to resolve conflicts in a fair and constructive manner.
  • Implement and enforce workplace policies to ensure consistency and fairness.

  • Advise management on labour laws and potential legal risks in employee-related decisions.

  • Assist with workplace investigations related to harassment, discrimination, or other workplace issues.

  • Prepare documentation for potential legal disputes and work with the legal team to defend against employee-related litigation.

  • Support managers in addressing performance management issues, including providing coaching and counselling.

  • Assist in developing performance improvement plans (PIPs) and tracking employee progress.

  • Help facilitate disciplinary actions or terminations in accordance with company policies.

  • Stay current on changes in employment law and labour practices, and ensure that the company adopts any necessary changes.

  • Maintain accurate records of employee grievances, investigations, and outcomes.

  • Use data to analyse trends and provide reports on employee relations and labour issues to senior management.

  • Assist in the smooth offboarding of employees whose contracts are terminated due to misconduct or performance issues.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (HR, Business, Communications, etc.) or relevant experience.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in Employee & Labour Relations
  • Excellent Communication skills, with capabilities of writing & drafting letter (show cause letter, etc)
  • Knowledge in Labour Law is a MUST
  • You have intermediate knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
  • Preferred someone who have experience in BPO industry
