The Head of School - Investigation and Enforcement provides visionary leadership and strategic direction for all aspects of academic and operational management at the School of Investigation and Enforcement. This role is ideal for a Doctorate Degree holder (PhD) in Forensic Science/ Social Science/ Law/ Criminology/ Correctional Science who will oversee curriculum development, accreditation processes, academic and non-academic programs within the school, and industry engagement. Job Description
- Provide visionary leadership in setting educational goals and priorities aligned with the school’s mission and values.
- Foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
- Oversee the administration of academic programs, including scheduling, course offerings, and academic advising.
- Oversee curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation to ensure relevance, rigor, and alignment with educational standards.
- Monitor student achievement and academic progress, implementing strategies for improvement as needed.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Department to develop and implement new programs or initiatives that meet student needs and institutional goals.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, including budget management, and resource allocation.
- Lead accreditation processes and prepare documentation for accreditation reviews.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and educational policies.
- Implement quality assurance measures to uphold academic standards and institutional integrity.
- Ensure efficient administrative processes and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide professional development opportunities and support for staff to enhance teaching effectiveness and professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork, morale, and accountability.
- Serve as the primary spokesperson and representative of the school to parents, students, alumni, and the broader community.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, educational institutions, and community organizations.
- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to advance the school’s mission and long-term goals.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to maintain high standards of educational quality and effectiveness.
- Implement measures to promote student well-being, safety, and discipline.
- Collaborate effectively with the top management providing regular updates, reports, and recommendations
- Support the top management in setting policies, strategic direction, and governance oversight.
Job Requirement
- Doctorate Degree Holder (PhD) in Forensic Science/ Social Science/ Law/ Criminology/ Correctional Science preferred.
- Significant experience in academic administration, preferably in a leadership role within higher education.
- Knowledge of curriculum design, assessment practices, and academic compliance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
- Experience with accreditation processes and standards.
