Role Description

The Homeroom and subject Educator will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans, curriculum development, teaching Cambridge IGCSE education, and conducting active learning activities in the classes. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Subang Jaya, Selangor.

Qualifications

  • Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development Skills: The ability to design and implement effective lesson plans and curricula that align with the educational goals of the institution.
  • Teaching using the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum: Familiarity with the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum, which is widely recognized as a rigorous and comprehensive program of study.
  • Active learning methodologies: Demonstrated experience in managing classrooms by using active learning methodologies, which are designed to engage students and promote critical thinking.
  • Classroom management and organizational skills: Excellent classroom management and organizational skills, which are essential for creating a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, are necessary for building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field: A bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is typically required for teaching positions.
  • Teaching certification or relevant experience: A teaching certification or relevant experience is preferred.
