Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in construction, engineering, or project management.
• Experience with site management and overseeing contractors/subcontractors.
• Experience with design software (AutoCAD) may be required.
• Good leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of project budgeting and cost estimation.
• Time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English (Mandarin is an advantage)

Tasks & responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily site activities to ensure smooth project progress.
• Supervise on-site construction activities, including the work of subcontractors and laborers.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet project standards.
• Monitor quality control and perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Prepare reports on site progress, quality issues, and site incidents for the project manager.
• Track project costs and compare them to the budget, ensuring project stays within financial constraints.
• Quickly address unexpected issues that arise on-site (e.g., delays, design problems, resource shortages).
• Maintain accurate records of site work, including daily progress reports, site instructions, and variations.
