Overview:
HSL Group is a leading infrastructure construction company specializing in marine infrastructure, renewable energy, water treatment, and environmental projects. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainable development and our WEFE (Water, Energy, Food, Environment) initiatives, we are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager based in Malaysia to elevate our online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Development:

  • Develop a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement across platforms.
  • Create engaging and high-quality content, including short videos, infographics, blog posts, and articles focused on HSL’s WEFE initiatives.
  • Tailor content to the unique values of WEFE (Water, Energy, Food, and Environment), reflecting HSL’s commitment to sustainability.

Social Media Management:

  • Manage HSL’s social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
  • Plan and execute a content calendar, balancing regular posts with special campaigns and events.
  • Monitor social media platforms to identify trends and opportunities for engagement and growth.

Video Production:

  • Develop short, compelling videos highlighting HSL’s projects, milestones, and community engagement related to WEFE.
  • Work with internal teams to gather content and produce multimedia assets.

Community Engagement & Growth:

  • Grow and engage with HSL’s social media community through thoughtful interaction and content that resonates with the audience.
  • Respond to inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely manner, fostering strong online relationships.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track and report on social media performance using analytics tools, offering insights and recommendations to optimize future content.
  • Monitor KPIs including engagement, follower growth, and reach, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet targets.

Collaborations & Partnerships:

  • Work with internal teams and external partners to amplify the reach of HSL’s content.
  • Identify and manage potential influencer partnerships that align with HSL’s values and business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist, preferably in sustainability, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Ability to create high-quality content across different media formats (videos, images, written posts).
  • Proficiency in video editing software and graphic design tools.
  • Excellent communication, creativity, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience using social media analytics tools to measure success and adapt strategies.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of the WEFE sectors (Water, Energy, Food, Environment) and sustainability issues.
  • Experience working with international teams and managing multiple social media accounts.
