Precast Engineer (QAQC /Civil /Structural Engineering - Gelang Patah, Johor)

Job Responsibilities :

Production

• To oversee production lines to ensure that all work instructions and procedures are strictly followed
• Collaborate with planner to organize, develop daily, weekly, monthly casting plans
• To ensure execution of productions in accordance to the site casting schedule
• To liaise and coordinate between contract department, procurement department, QAQC department, mold team and sub contractor to ensure smooth daily production
• To Initiate with QAQC department to identify and diagnose the root cause of any product defects to improve product quality
• To ensure the quality of the production of precast concrete components is in accordance with latest approves shop drawings, work instructions, casting programs & approved QC method
• To ensure latest shop drawing are used by all parties. Take ownership of drawing master copy
• To perform full inspection of any cast in item, accessories and mould received
• To perform daily pre-pour inspections before casting of precast components
• To carry out inspections with consultant's rep in accordance to approved precast shop drawings
• To assist plant manager to monitor and control material usage. Minimize wastage to be within tolerance as stipulated by plant manager
• To assist plant manager in managing a team of production supervisors and workers in ensuring timely production and delivery of precast components
• Keep records and tidy documentations for submission to client
• Maintain and implement QC system in factory by following the project quality manual and standard operating procedures set by the company
• Carry out weekly progress meeting with sub-contractors to report on the project progress and to bring up any non-conformance for pre-pour inspection

QAQC

• To coordinate and execute all QC procedures, documentations and records
• Checking that the assembly or production line comply to standards and procedures
• To perform daily post-pour and pre-delivery inspections before delivery of precast components
• To report non-conformance to Manager for immediate action
• Collaborate with planner to develop daily, weekly and monthly delivery plans
• To monitor subcontractors to ensure delivery is carried out as per scheduled
• To arrange storage of precast product
• To carry out monthly stock take as when required
• Keep records of inspections and before/after repair of defect products
• To arrange for testing of raw materials such as rebar, aggregate, cement and precision tools
• To lead internal & external QA audits (ISO9001)
• To work with design team on technical issues and subcontractor on quality issues
• Take initiative to resolve quality issues of delivered product as highlighted by clients
• Coordinate closely with clients representative
• Engage with production team to deliver high quality works
• Prepare a monthly analysis and report to management with recommendations for improvement and preventive measures

Job Requirement :

• Degree / Master Degree in Civil engineering, Construction engineering or equivalent
• Fresh graduate are welcome to apply as well.
• Possess 1 - 5 years of working experience in manufacturing / construction field
• Able to read basic structural drawings is a plus
• Experience in PPVC (Prefabric Prefinished Volumetric Construction / Modular building) & PBU ( Prefabric Bathroom Unit/ preassembled bathroom unit offsite complete with finished sanitary ware, conceal pipes etc ) project are added advantage
• Work exp. in Precast Construction / Precast Concrete manufacturing is a bonus. (Not compulsory)
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Excel, Word , Power Point , Outlook.
• Possess own transport and willing to work at Gelang Patah, Johor
• Basic Salary MYR3000-MYR5000 (Negotiable)
