Program Development: Create and develop engaging training programs that educate the public on various psychological topics, including mental health awareness, stress management, and emotional resilience.
Workshop Facilitation: Organize and conduct workshops, seminars, and community events, using interactive methods to engage participants and encourage discussion.
Resource Creation: Develop educational materials, including handouts, presentations, and online content, to support community education efforts.
Public Speaking: Deliver presentations to community groups, schools, and organizations, promoting mental health literacy and destigmatizing mental health issues.
Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback and assessments, making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
Collaboration: Partner with local organizations, schools, and healthcare providers to expand outreach and enhance program visibility.
Community Engagement: Foster relationships with community members and organizations to promote participation and awareness of mental health resources.
Qualifications:
Education: degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Valid state license to practice psychology.
Experience: Experience in public speaking or community education is preferred.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, creativity in program design, and a passion for mental health advocacy.
