Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities :

• To prepare tender bids for submission on time.
• To take charge of contract review, to assure proper tenders are prepared and submitted.
• Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
• Prepare notification for extension of time from any potential project delay.
• Review and understand all drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project costs to ensure objectives of the project are achieved in accordance with building contract law; Ensure compliance with standards.
• Responsible for coordination with contractors, suppliers, and other parties.
• Handle pre or post-tender procurement which includes sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and trade contractors.
• Tabulate and evaluate price comparison and costing summary.
• Handle project administration and documentation, including preparation of sub-contract, Variation Orders, etc.
• Prepare cost analysis and cost reduction strategies to enhance overall project value.
• Prepare and submit progress claims to clients and update progress claim reports monthly.
• Assist and perform all tasks assigned by a respective superior.

Job Requirements :

• At least 5 years of ID/A&A experience
• Resourceful, and sensitive to numerical.
• Experience in participating in full interior fit-out projects.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Work well under tight submission deadlines.
• High sense of responsibility and integrity.
