In this position you will…

…use practices, tools and technologies of data science to analyse and communicate insightful business information from internal and external data. You will also design algorithms for bolttech AI-driven products. You will work in our Lead Data Scientist´s team, working closely with Product Managers, Developers and Business Teams to enable data-driven products. Last but not least, you will help lead and infuse a data-driven culture.

You will be responsible for…

1. Deriving insights from data using descriptive statistics, predictive analytics, and machine learning methods.
2. Building models, with structured and unstructured data, for new and innovative products.
3. Designing experiments, particularly A/B tests, to support data-driven business decisions.
4. Working directly with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders.
5. Producing and presenting in-depth analytics reports.
6. Building dashboards and visualisations to communicate real-time insights across the company.
7. Working with non-technical users and developing our data maturity.

You will require the following qualifications and skills

1. 5+ years in an similar position.
2. Degree in mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or similar required. Master’s is desired, Bachelor’s will be considered.
3. Proven experience to handle an end-to-end data science project starting from problem understanding, data cleaning and analysis, modelling, testing and (ideally) deployment.
4. Advanced knowledge of Python and associated data science packages: NumPy, pandas, matplotlib / seaborn, scikit-learn, SciPy, statsmodels, LangChain and PyTorch / TensorFlow. SQL and Excel intermediate knowledge. R and JavaScript knowledge nice to have.
5. Knowledge of AWS and/or Google Cloud and/or Databricks, in particular their ML tools, is desired.
6. Proven experience in GenAI, MLOps, and software engineering, especially microservice design, are a big plus.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team.
9. Comfortable with building and delivering quality presentations in front of technical and non-technical audiences.
10. Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
