Regional HSE Manager

Position Level: Assistant Manager / Manager - Regional HSE

Job Purpose:

Your functions will cover both technical support to the sales team and you will also manage the QHSE

for the company. You will be based in the main office in Kuala Lumpur; however you are required to

travel frequently as technical support in the region.

Job Descriptions:

• To support sales activities where technical support is required in the Southeast Asia regions.
• To have meetings with clients either with or without sales team as to support an ongoing or a potential business opportunity for BSL.
• To prepare and conduct DNV technical talks or safety talks – get BSL involvement with clients.
• Extremely fluent with DNV2.7-1/2/3 requirements in all aspects of technical enquiries.
• Fluent in ACAD and help advice new designs where client requirements is concerned on CCU products.
• Assist & advice clients with technical enquiries pertaining to their technical requirements (in conjunction with DNV2.7) for hire / sales of units.
• Collaborate with sales team in preparation of tenders for technical input and join in sales visit where HSE/Technical expertise is required.
• Overseeing of before and after sales projects on technicalities to meet client expectations.
• Timely reviewing of existing / new designs for continuous improvement.
• Work closely with HK management and procurement team where new design or for any technical concerns.
• Proactive with suggestions on product and/or services as to gain competitive advantage.
• Be responsible for verifying CCUs of standard and non-standard compliance.
• To guide, groom, and manage new safety officer (SO) to take on HSE side of things for BSL.
• Ensure that SO updates Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) rules and documentation for all BSL yards and offices in Malaysia and to be adhered by all personnel in BSL.
• Wholly in-charge of all QHSE application and documentation submission where any tenders or vendor/supplier registrations is concerned.
• Provide guidance and support in achieving certifications such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, DNV, and other audits.
• You will be based in Kuala Lumpur and will travel to meet the criteria as mentioned above.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor holder.
• Good knowledge and experience in HSE and government requirements.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Oil and Gas industry or any other similar industry.
